Если потребитель имеет доход в Ј10, цена на товар Х составляет 50 пенсов, а цена на товар Y - Ј1, он сможет купить 20 единиц товара X или 10 единиц товара Y, или же 10 единиц товара Х и 5 единиц товара Y.
